Store News: As many of you may have noticed, Campus Camera has a brand new Front Sign. After a year and a half negotiation, Campus Camera and Sony have teamed up to light up the front of our store. It looks sharp!

There is an item we have been thinking of carrying called the Sony dash Personal Internet Viewer. Check it out here: Sony dash. I think its a cool item, but I don't know if it would sell here. Take our poll and let me know if its worth ordering!

Rumor has it that Sony is going to introduce a mirror-less dSLR at PMA this year. Could it be called a NEX5 and NEX3? You heard it here first. Judging by some blueprints I saw (for legal, patent purposes) could Canon be following suit? I know this, small dSLRs are great, but they have to be priced right. A full-size Sony a230 sells for $449 with a lens, so these would have to be less than that. Right? Guess we'll have to wait and see...

We have a real nice basic camera from Sony called the DSC-S2100 that sells for $119. That's a good starting point for people replacing their old 35mm film cameras or that teenager looking for their first camera! The new Canon Point & Shoot line has started arriving. We have the new SD1300 IS & SD3500 IS touch screen camera IN STOCK!

The Canon 1D Mark IV will be hard to get. We have a list of customers that are waiting in line for these as they trickle in. Please, if you would like the latest and greatest Canon Camera, call us to get on the list. If we have already on our list, it looks like it won't be long now!

Speaking of high-end Canon stuff, there is a new EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II lens that was just announced. I don't have specifics on cost or availability, but look for it to be right around the Nikon at approximately $2500. This lens has the new Hybrid Stabilizer in it that gets rave reviews.

We have the new Nikkor AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Lens in stock today! We just received them and we have our preorders taken care of. We also have the awesome Nikkor AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8 & 24-70mm f/2.8 lenses in stock for the Holiday Season. I call these the "Nikon Triad" because if you have these 3 lenses, what else can I sell you? Also, we have the new AF-S 18-200mm VR II IN STOCK. We've got you covered as far as Nikon goes!

The new Canon Pro 9000 Mark II printer is here in store. There is an awesome rebate on this printer. Buy a Canon 5D MkII, T1i or a 50D and get this $499 printer for $99 after Mail in Rebate! We offer Sensor Cleaning on most DSLRs. Unlike our competition, we normally charge anywhere from $15 (for a "no-touch" cleaning) to $30. Why pay $70 for a service that takes 1-2 weeks when you can come here and spend a lot less? Not to mention, we usually have it done in 1-2 business days!
